The Cronies Attack Westport

The Cronies are Burke Kelly, Gary Traynor, John Winskell and Steve Ball

WESTPORT - The Cronies are on there way to The Cove this weekend to give Westport a first hand listen to their fresh and upbeat Rockabilly music. The four members of the band are well known faces in the area. They are Burke Kelly, Gary Traynor, John Winskell and Steve Ball.	There is tremendous musical quality in the members of the Cronies, who have played in bands for years. "The band came together really fast" said Winskell, who is the lead guitar player with the group. "With the experience of everyone (in the band) we pulled it together quickly.	Burke Kelly is the leader of the band the lead singer and also the drummer. He adds interest to the band as he stands up while playing. The definition of a Cronie is an old friend or drinking buddy. The Cronies play Thursday, Friday and Saturday at The Cove.
